Tis the season

It’s the end of November, it has been horribly wet and cold…let’s start celebrating the end of 2016!

We may not have a Christmas menu at No.1 but we aren’t completely bah humbug!
This week we’ve added some comforting Hot Toddy’s to our drinks offering and our mulled cider made from Piton strong cider will get you feeling festive from the inside out!

As well as being your perfect ‘winter warming’ drinks spot we will have our menu full of   seasonal dishes that will act as a refreshing change from dry turkey and potatoes on those days where you just want something a bit different.

As well as what we have going on in the bar our friends at Harbourside Market are launching their Christmas Markets on the 1st December with an exhibition by  Andrew Burns-Colwill. For one night only the covered walkway at Bristol’s harbour will transform into a fairylight-lit, outdoor dockside gallery.

Then from the 3rd December you can enjoy  the perfect alternative Christmas Market, full of Bristol’s independent spirit, with the best makers, creators, and street food whizzes. They’ll have games, drinks, food, art, entertainment, and much, much more at their various events

We’ll have a line up of amazing bands from Weds-Saturday and you can let loose and work out all the stresses of the season at our usual dance nights on a Sunday.

To keep up to date with all these events head on over to our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.
